Jon Rockwood

CHEF - DOVER HALL 

Originally from Massachusetts, Jon relocated to Richmond in 1996. He began cooking at the age of 14 and has been in and out of kitchens ever since. Jon graduated with a degree in History from the prestigious College of William and Mary after serving our country in the Navy as an aviation anti-submarine warfare operator. After his tenure with the Navy and serving nine years as a police officer, he couldn’t keep himself out of the kitchen. With over 20 years of professional culinary experience, Jon joined the Dover Hall team in 2021. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and exploring uncharted territory. The famous 500 mile El Camino de Santiago is a hike that Jon has accomplished not only once but twice!
