From a maroon-and-orange cap to a faith-filled “I do” at Dover Hall, Will & Chelsea’s wedding was pure destiny. 🧡💍
“Dover Hall will always hold a special place in our hearts. From the moment we got engaged, we dreamed of the possibility of getting married there—and that dream became a reality.” – Will & Chelsea
From their very first meeting with the Dover Hall team through tastings, walk-throughs, the rehearsal, and finally their wedding day, Will and Chelsea describe the process as “seamless and elevated.” They shared that the staff felt “warm, welcoming, and truly committed to making your day feel magical,” and that stepping into the estate itself was like “walking into a movie.”

The couple recalls some of the most meaningful parts of their day:
“One of the most meaningful moments from our wedding day was reading the letters we wrote to each other. Chelsea read hers by the large, ornate glass, light-filled window in the Queen Elizabeth Room, surrounded by love, anticipation, and tears. Will read his in the breathtaking library, a quiet moment before the day truly began.”
“We also loved the walk from the house, through the garden, down the stone steps beside the reflecting pool, and finally to the altar—where we saw all of our closest friends and family waiting.”
Their Love Story
Will and Chelsea’s relationship is full of serendipity. Though they both graduated from Virginia Tech in 2014, their story didn’t truly begin until dental school at VCU the following year.
Later, while looking back through photos, they discovered that at graduation Will’s mom had taken a snapshot of a cap decorated with a maroon and orange tooth. That cap, as it turned out, belonged to Chelsea. “It was one of those small, perfect coincidences that made everything feel even more right,” they shared.
Rooted in their faith in God and surrounded by the love of family and friends, their Dover Hall wedding was, in their words, “the perfect celebration of the life we’ve built together.”
